The time has come around again to switch up our Pilates ABC (Align Balance Core) class routine, starting Friday 8th November! This class is thoughtfully crafted to suit mixed abilities, with modifications demonstrated to ensure everyone can participate and benefit. All the exercises are low-impact and so nice and safe for your joints. All you need is a mat, and the ability to kneel and rise independently from the floor – no other equipment is required (just bring a small towel) as you will be using your own body weight as resistance.
In the 10 minute preview video below, I’m sharing a sneak peek of some of the exercises we’ll be exploring. This workout routine targets all major muscle groups in the body; we’ll be strengthening and opening the hips, toning the legs, building a supple spine through sequential control, and powering up your core. Expect to challenge your coordination, whilst paying attention to your breathing and core engagement – especially when things get challenging.
As always, each session will wrap up with a short guided meditation to calm and refresh both body and mind.
