New Mat Pilates Routine Starts 26th February – Video Preview Inside

A fresh ABC (Align, Balance, Core) Mat Routine is here! Starting Wednesday 26th February, this session will focus on building core strength, improving posture, and enhancing mobility – helping you move better, feel stronger, and reduce tension in the body.

What This Routine Will Do for You:

✅ Strengthen the core to improve stability, balance, and movement control.
✅ Mobilise and strengthen the shoulders and hips to ease tension, improve flexibility, and support upper-body alignment.
✅ Develop back strength to support spinal health, enhance mobility, and improve posture.
✅ Improve overall full-body strength and rotation to move with more ease and efficiency
✅ Increase range of motion with controlled circumduction to keep joints healthy and movement fluid.

You’ll be guided to build upon your core strength at a pace that feels right for you, with a focus on mindful breathing and deep core activation, especially when the challenge kicks in! A strong core and back provide the foundation for better movement, reduced stiffness, and improved posture. Shoulder work helps release built-up tension from daily habits like desk work and stress. Controlled circumduction of the shoulders and hips increases joint mobility, ensuring smoother, more effortless movement in everyday activities.

This class is low-impact and joint-friendly, making it suitable for different abilities. Modifications will be shown, so you can work at your own pace. All you need is a mat and the ability to kneel and rise independently, no extra equipment required (just bring a small towel).

As always, we’ll wrap up each session with a guided meditation to help the body relax and absorb the benefits of the practice.
